I had TE Electric come out and diagnose a problem with my dryer when it randomly stopped. Immediately upon Miquel coming in, he noted the brand of my fuse box and how dangerous those were. Through his diagnostics, he determined the back of my fuse box was showing signs of extreme heat. He presented me 2 options, replace the fuse box or update my old homes whole electrical. We went with the fuse box and he completed the work same day. I appreciated how Miquel was knowledgeable, provided me with pictures of the melted materials and timely in completing his work. The price fit the national average and I thought was fair for the quality and amount of work. I will be using TE again for more housing needs and will specifically be asking for Miquel for future electrical repairs.

Customer has 24 y/o Ruud system that operates for upper level. System is not cooling due to overheating compressor tripping breaker caused by low pressure levels indicating refrigerant leak. Overall condition of system is poor. Informed customer of findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Today we cleaned the outdoor system, replaced the armor flex insulation, cleaned the blower wheel, replaced the condensate pump, installed Ss1, replaced flue pipe, and removed the old plenum and found it very rusty and completely rusted through on the bottom. Returned and replaced the plenum and tested the system in heat and cool as well as pressures.
Replace existing switches with dimmers
Customer stated they were worried to run the unit. Ran diagnostics on the system and found the flue pipe has rusted out and fallen apart, the condensate drain pump has failed, the blower wheel is very dirty, the outdoor unit is very dirty, no flood protection on the system, no locking caps, insulation on copper falling apart, and no filter rack on downstairs system. For the upstairs found it flat on refrigerant, single wall flue pipe, no gas sediment trap on either system, dirty coil outside, and drain line at a bad pitch. Today we set up to come back on Monday 2-5 to complete the band aid repairs on the main floor system.
System is not cooling due to a defective ECM condenser fan motor
For this job, we found the system not cooling Rand diagnostics and found thermostat is bad on system. Also noticed the condenser coil is very dirty no AC disconnect, no locking cap, drain line is routed badly, no safety switch installed on the system no gas sediment trap and very dirty blower wheel. Today we completed all necessary repairs needed. Post repairs tested all of our work and no mechanical failures at this time.
Tessa is not cooling for the whole home. Found a failed capacitor on this system causing the condenser not to turn on at all. Tested the system with a new capacitor of the truck to fully inspect. Found no other mechanical fires at this time. Offered the customer to add a hard kit to improve life of capacitor, as well as power consumption of the unit. Also the condenser coil was a bit dirty and could use a cleaning. Today we just replaced the capacitor on the system and got it back up and running no other failures at this time.
I replaced the tankless water heater
For this job, we worked on installing new Liberty 404 pump for washing machine discharge. We installed a utility sink so that the washing machine can discharge into it.
